Our Story
Animals know more than we give them credit for.
Zoopharmacognosy is the study of how animals use natural substances to support themselves when they are unwell.
It comes from the Greek zoo (animal), pharmacon (medicine) & gnosis (knowledge).
This idea is at the heart of Let's Thrive: animals have their own instincts, needs, emotions and ways of communicating. The more we understand them, the better we can care for them.
Why Natural Remedies?
Pharmaceutical medicines work fast, are harsher on the organs, and often taste yuck! They often only target symptoms, rather than the core issues. Modern veterinary medicine has an important place in keeping animals healthy, and sometimes medicines are essential. But there is also a place for gentle, natural support in everyday animal care.
Let's Thrive creates effective plant-powered remedies to give pet parents a natural pharmacy for the everyday conditions their animals may experience at home.
Our remedies are made from carefully selected plants, backed by veterinary knowledge and centred on the animal's wellbeing.
And now here's a question:
What does your animal actually need to thrive?
Right food. Regular movement. Fresh air & exploration. Play & mental stimulation. Rest. Emotional security. Freedom to express natural behaviours.
Getting these fundamentals right isn't just about helping an animal feel good today. Good nutrition, lifestyle and preventative care can support long-term health and help reduce the risk of more serious problems developing later.
That's why Let's Thrive looks at the whole animal — not just a symptom. We work with your animal's body to promote balance & healing from the inside out. When done thoughtfully, natural remedies are gentle, effective and intuitive with the animal.

About the Founder
I'm Dr. Anisha, a veterinarian with over 20 years of experience and the founder of Let's Thrive Wellness for Animals.
Over the years, my work has grown to include nutrition, animal behaviour, rehabilitation and natural medicine. For more than a decade, I've also been learning from and working with plants, and seeing how natural remedies can complement good veterinary care.
I created Let's Thrive to bring these worlds together: veterinary knowledge and the wisdom of nature.
Our goal is simple: to help pet parents make thoughtful choices about their animals' health, and to give them practical, natural tools to support them every day.
Because when we look at the whole animal, we can help them truly thrive.
